Zimbabwe - West Nicholson (Ladi and Reata Ranches)

Situated in the West Nicholson area (In the South East of Zimbabwe) on 60,000 unfenced acres. This zone is renowned for its big leopard and good plainsgame. It consists of beautiful bushes and impressive granite hills, home of the evasive klipspringer and elusive leopard.

This is our supreme area for Leopard hunting with hounds. With only 4 Leopard tags here, we insure that the quality is maintained. Having hunted here for the past 10 years, our Ph’s know this area very well.

Hound packs normally consist of between 8 and 10 hounds with 2 lead dogs at the front. Leopard with hound hunts, are sold on 10 day hunts and packaged with the hounds and hound handler fees included. Baits are still hung for the Leopards and once a male Leopard track is identified, the hounds are released. With a good network of roads, walking is reduced to the most essential. Our success rate in this area with hounds is at 100% for the past 5 years.

To add to your Leopard, plainsgame is also available. You can expect to get very good warthog, impala, waterbuck, eland, Giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and hyena. Small cats are also available.

Our hunting camp sits on a river bank under the shadows of big riverine trees. It consists of 4 comfortable chalets (all en-suite) and a lounge/dining area. This camp gets a 3 star rating by us.
