ZIMBABWE – SAVE VALLEY (CHISHAKWE RANCH)

This area is renowned for its abundant game. Host to the African Big 5, it also has an incredible amount of plains animals and a large variety of plains animals.

With a small quota, this area is far from over hunted and quality of animals are as good as you’ll get anywhere. For the hunter that wants to have a full safari of Buffalo and plainsgame or Leopard and Plainsgame or both, this is our jewel area. Cape Buffalo hunts are sold on 10 day buffalo plainsgame hunts here. Buffalo are of good quality in this area and are hunted on foot.

With Granite hills scattered in the area and hundreds of impala, this is a leopard’s paradise. Leopard are hunted with blinds in this area and due to the fact that we only hunt 3 per year, the quality and success is 100%.

Plainsgame are abundant and you can expect to get very good kudu in this area, Waterbuck are also of exceptional quality here. Other species in this area are: warthog, impala, eland, Giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, bushpig and Klipspringer.

In the area you will see Elephant, Lion and the occasional African wild dog.This area is good for family hunts as the Lodge gets our 5 star rating. The lodge consists of 5 chalets with en-suite bathrooms. It has a beautiful bar area with swimming pool attached and a separate dining room. The Lodge sits on a river bank under the shadows of big riverine trees.
